This is the gear that I use most commonly. If you see a photograph on the website or in any of my channels, it was most likely taken with one of the cameras, lenses, or equipment shown here.
I may include the older equipment just for fun. I do believe that photography is not just in the eye of the creator, but also that the best camera is the one that you have in your pocket.
Canon EOS R6 MarkII
This has become my main camera. I became a “Canon” photographer throughout the years after moving from Nikon. It works with my workflow, and it delivers in all areas where I need it to. Love the response, speed and flexibility.
Canon RF 50mm 1.4 VCM
Canon has been putting out an incredible hybrid lens collection. This lens loses a little bit of aperture (the bigger sibling goes up to 1.2); however, what it lacks in that area makes it up in size, portability, and it still keeps the L features.
Canon RF 28-70 2.8
When on the street or walking, one of the most important things becomes the weight and how to carry it around. One of the reasons this lens and the 50mm 1.4 have become staples in my arsenal when I am moving through crowds and over distances.
Peak Design sling 6L
I have lost count of all the bags that I have tested throughout the years, makeshift bags, backpacks, specialised bags, not specialised with special dividers, foam, pouches, tape and other stuff to optimise my workflow and not to fight when I need to change the lens, the battery or just fetch a tissue.
So far, these are the ones that I keep coming back to, the 6L and the 10L, for when I also need to take my laptop and cables with me.
peak design camera clip
Paired with the sling, this clip is hands down the MVP. It is reliable and keeps the camera perfectly secured to one of the side straps on the sling. The fast-release and lock system is great, and it has helped me deal with moments when I need both hands free and the camera out of the way without having to put it inside the bag.
iPhone 13 Pro
“The best camera is the one that you have with you” - I don’t know who said it first, but it still works today.
This device is reliable, and with extra apps, I can get so much out of it. I use Spectre for long exposures, Photon for adjusting ºK, ISO and Aperture, or the regular stock Camera for a quick fast shot
other equipment
Daido Moriyama said that the camera is not relevant, but the photographer's eye is. I can say that many of my best pictures were taken with very old equipment, when there was no other option (or I had a lot less money to upgrade), and yes, I have taken pictures using the stock lens; I think that the joy of shooting is not just in the new gear but actually going out and capturing those images.
You can still catch some of those older shots in my Gallery
